10. What are the benefits of doing the course at Yaşar University, School of Foreign Languages?

Yaşar University is the only institution in Turkey that offers a face-to-face SIT TESOL certificate course.

• Resources and Observing Classes. Participants will have access to the SoFL Teacher Resource Centre to make use of materials to prepare for their practice teaching hours. Textbooks, flashcards and other materials can be used by participants to make their lessons more effective. There are also plenty of opportunities to observe real classes taught by experienced teachers and discuss the lesson observed with the instructor afterwards.
• Professional Development. Yaşar provides regular in-house professional development to its teachers. All SIT TESOL course participants at Yaşar can attend any in-house professional development training scheduled during the course in addition to the core SIT TESOL sessions for free. Yaşar also offers a monthly Newsletter on English Language Teaching to its teachers which TESOL course participants can also review and even publish their own articles in.
